The programme is designed to enable presentation of the widest possible variety of original research papers, general papers and posters on the theme of Preservation and Protection of Materials in the following main topic categories:
|Antiadhesive Surfaces||Biodeterioration and Biodegradation||Emerging Topics|
|Antimicrobial Surfaces||Biofilms and Biofilm Control Strategies||Fuels|
|Biocides||Constructional Materials and Paint||Modern Investigative Methods|
|Biocorrosion||Cultural Heritage/Cultural Property||Pharmaceuticals|
|Biodegradation and Bioremediation||Decontamination||Short Papers|
Oral presentations will be 20 minutes long, including questions, and there is a special session of short papers, each 10 minutes in duration, including questions, aimed specifically at young researchers and students, but also for scientists to report on research in progress.
Please note that at least one of the authors must be registered as a symposium delegate before the paper can appear in the programme and there is a limit of one oral presentation and two posters per registered delegate.
The abstract for your oral presentation or poster must be made using the form below, ensuring that all fields are completed and that the abstract is not more than 250 words long. Be sure to indicate which session you consider to be most appropriate for your paper. All abstracts will be reviewed by the organisers and you will be informed whether or not your paper will be accepted well in advance of the symposium.
Closing date for submission of abstracts is 30th June 2017.
If you do not hear from the conference organisers within two weeks of submission please contact email@example.com to confirm that it has been received.
Suitable presentations may be submitted to the Society’s journal “International Biodeterioration and Biodegradation” for publication in a special issue, after the normal reviewing procedure.
